It seems like a sin to not change your sheets less than once a fortnight. Now one man has shared his essential life hack for the easy switch - but it's caused a stir online.

Sharing the clip on TikTok, social media star @ActualLifeHack - who has raked in a jaw-dropping 147,000 followers to date - has left people baffled with his revelation.
However, despite the strange trick - viewers on the popular social media app have spotted a bigger problem with his bold statement.
He said: "Actual life hack - on January 1st, put 12 bed sheets on your bed!"
"On the first of every month, just pop that top one off - and bam clean sheets!
"The same goes with those pillows - done!"

Whilst it's not confirmed whether the man is being serious or not, it doesn't stop several TikTokers sharing their thoughts in the comment section - where one particular comment sparked debate.
Surprised at the initial statement of only washing sheets once a month, the statement caused controversy within the comments as users couldn't agree on the appropriate time to do the washing.
"Only once a month," someone commented in disbelief beside a shocked emoji.
"I'd say every 3 months for me," a user wrote beside a laughing emoji.
"A week for me," a third added.
A fourth commented: "Mine's every other day because I love clean sheets."


On the other hand, other users fled to the comments to express their thoughts on the 12 sheet ordeal - with some claiming they've even tried it themselves.
"I can't keep one fitted sheet on my mattress, let alone 12!" One user expressed.
A second wrote: "I just did this hack. Wont have to change my sheets for a dozen years!"
A third added: "One spilled drink and its all over."
