Man's hilarious child-throwing Miss Trunchbull costume 'wins' Halloween

It may not be until tomorrow but the internet has already decided one man's Roald Dahl-inspired costume has 'won' Halloween .

Wacey Foster, 29, has had fans of the beloved British childrens' writer's works in fits of laughter with his Miss Trunchbull costume.

Agatha Trunchbull is the  the bullying, oppressive and tyrannical principal of Crunchem Hall Elementary School from the classic comedy fantasy Matilda.

Mr Foster's accurate depiction of the harsh, children-hating Trunchbull includes shot puts, as she was famously a shot putter, hammer, and javelin thrower in the Munich Olympics.

In the book she often throws children great distances as a punishment and Mr Foster's costume comes complete with a doll which he throws in one of many videos which have gone viral online.

Mr Foster is seen in the video above working up a sweat at Coop's Performance Gym in Blanchard, Oklahoma.

The resemblance to the villainous character is uncanny as Mr Foster lifts weights and throws shot puts just like in the movie.

Mr Foster said: "I decided to dress as Miss Trunchbull as a last-minute easy costume since I didn't have enough time to finish my actual costume.

"I was OK with how the costume turned out.

"My neighbours helped me stencil the sweater and I bought a weightlifting belt at Walmart the night before which I had to spray paint the day of."

But the niche costume may have been too obscure for some.

Mr Foster added: "Nobody at the Halloween party got my costume. They kept asking if I was a wrestler."
