A man has been taken to hospital with cut injuries to his hand after an "altercation" broke out in a popular city centre park.
Gardai rushed to the scene of the incident at Mountjoy Square at 1.50pm this afternoon.
A man has been taken to hospital with a wound to his hand for treatment.
A Garda spokesperson said: "Gardai responded to reports of an altercation at a park in Mountjoy, Co Dublin this afternoon, 16 th October 2021, at approximately 1.50pm."
"One man received cut injuries to his hand and has been taken [to] hospital to receive treatment. No other injuries have been reported at this time."
The spokesperson added that investigations into the incident are "ongoing".
