Man's genius hack to watch Netflix epic The Irishman as 'mini-series' without falling asleep

A Twitter user has come up with a unique way to watch Robert De Niro's film The Irishman as a streaming series.

The much-hyped Martin Scorsese blockbuster has been tipped for Oscar success, but for casual streamers it has proved a mountain to climb closing in at over three hours.

Many viewers have found it hard to stay awake for the entire length of the movie, which features Al Pacino and Joe Pesci.

Hpowever, one Twitter user has come up with a clever way to turn the limited release film into a bitesize mini-series.

SPOILER WARNING

The end of the 'first episode' would come at the 49 minute mark, as Jimmy Hoffa ends his call.

A second viewing would then run until 1 hour 40 minutes as Joey the Blond is introduced.
