We all know that leaving a tip at a restaurant can make someone's day, and most of us wouldn't think twice about leaving the recommended 10% extra for our waiter if we had the money to spare.
But one man on TikTok went above and beyond with the tip he left after taking his wife out for a meal on Valentine's Day earlier this week, as he chose to give a whopping 200% gratuity to his waiter.
However, the man's actions have been dividing people in the comments, as many think he went about it the wrong way - by turning the tip into a game and seemingly bragging about his generosity.

In the video, TikTok user @realkinghang - who is from the US - was seen paying for his meal using a tablet, when he asked the waiter to swipe the tip screen "as far as it goes" to determine how much tip he would be getting.
He then said: "Boom. 200%."
Text on the screen indicated the bill was $46 (£34), meaning the waiter received $92 (£68) in tips.
A woman's voice then said in the video: "You got a hundred dollars for a tip. No, I'm for real!"
The waiter could be heard telling the couple: "Thank you very much guys, I appreciate that."

And at the end of the clip, text appeared which read: "I love doing this. Feels so good to make someone's day."
But the video has sparked fierce debate among commenters, as some people believe the man and his wife made the waiter "uncomfortable" by continuing to mention how much tip they had given him.
In the US, tipping is much more common as wait staff are on much lower wages, so many people in those positions rely on tips and the generosity of others to make ends meet.
One commenter wrote: "This is ridiculous, it's like you're forcing them to be grateful. They don't owe you anything."
While another said: "You need to be more humble. Why are you shoving it in his face? That's made it weird and uncomfortable."
And a third added: "I hate when people act like this and flex how much they tip. Just be polite, tip, and leave."
Other commenters defended the man for his kind deed, insisting he should still be applauded for his actions as the waiter may have "really needed" the cash.
Someone said: "Screw the haters! I think this post could influence others to do acts of kindness like this. For all anyone knows, the waiter may have needed it."
As someone else posted: "As a server, I wouldn’t give a f**k if I’m being filmed or not. $100 on a $45 bill? You're all so bent for no reason, I’m just glad for that server."
