Police hope two men captured on CCTV can help their probe into a sickening attack on a nightclub dancefloor.
The victim, a 22-year-old man was left with what police termed a "laceration" to his face after he was set upon just after midnight on Sunday, March 24.
The man required hospital treatment after he was attacked following a verbal altercation with a gang of men at at Block 1 on Bold Street in Warrington .
The men were all on the dance floor when the violence erupted - Cheshire Police today confirmed.
And police have now issued CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to after the attack which saw the man slashed on his left cheek.

Detective Constable David Wynne said: “This incident took place in a busy nightclub in Warrington town centre and there were a number of people in the club at the time who may be able to assist with our investigation.
“I’m particularly keen to speak to the two men in the CCTV images as I believe that they may hold vital information."

He added: "If you think you recognise the men in the images or may know who they are please contact the team here at Warrington CID on 101, quoting IML 355161.

And he urged the men pictured to come forward.
