Man's 'delicious' slow cooker macaroni cheese recipe goes viral

In these uncertain times, everyone needs a comfort food recipe which they can tuck into when they are feeling down.

According to Manchester Evening News, one man has created the 'ultimate' macaroni cheese recipe that will leave you salivating.

Best of all, the entire dish can be made in a slow cooker, meaning you can feed the whole family without spending hours cooking.

Facebook users say the recipe looks 'delicious' (Emmett Otter/ Crockpot/Slow Cooker Recipes & Tips)

Emmett Otter first shared the recipe to the Facebook group Crockpot/Slow Cooker Recipes & Tips and it quickly went viral.

It has received more than 200 comments and 477 interactions, with people eager to try it for themselves.

In the post, Emmet said: "Y’all like cheese pulls? This is for cheese lovers only!!! Extra cheesey Mac and cheese."

To make the recipe, Emmett says to combine all the ingredients and stir until well mixed.

Afterwards, put it in a slow cooker and cook at a low temperature for one to three hours until the pasta is soft and cooked.

He added: "I recommend checking it after the first hour, then every 30 minutes after that. Mine was done after 1 hour and 30 minutes."

People have flooded the comments of the post praising the recipie.

One person said: "My favorite Mac and cheese recipe."

"Yum!!! Definitely cooking this," said somebody else.

A third person added: "Giving this a go today."

"Looks delicious to me," said another.
