Police are investigating after a man's car was allegedly hijacked at knifepoint in Belfast on Thursday.
Police said that the incident happened at around 11.30am when a male driver of a white Clio pulled into Donore Court, off the New Lodge Road in North Belfast.
A PSNI spokesman said: "A male jumped into his car and produced a knife. The driver fell out of the driver's door and ran away.
"He was not injured during this incident, however he has been left very badly shaken."
New Lodge flats death investigated by police
A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences.
A PSNI spokesman said: "Detectives investigating a report of a hijacking in the New Lodge Road area of Belfast earlier today, Thursday, 11 April, have arrested a 33-year-old man on suspicion of a number of offences including hijacking and possession of blade or point."
