A man’s body has been recovered from the sea at a Fife harbour.
Emergency crews and rescue teams rushed to Buckhaven Harbour at around 11.35am on Wednesday following reports of a man in the water.
The man was pulled from the sea but could not be saved.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a man in the water at Buckhaven Harbour around 11.35am on Wednesday, 15 September, 2021.
“The man was recovered from the water but was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing.”
