A man has been found dead outside an Ayr house today.
Cops were called to Galloway Avenue off the South Ayrshire town's Whitletts Road around 6.10am.
It is understood the road remains sealed off as police investigate the circumstances of the incident.
Officers are currently treating the man's death as 'unexplained'.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told Ayrshire Live: "Police were called around 6.10am on Wednesday, October 6, following the sudden death of a man outside a property on Galloway Avenue, Ayr.
"Enquiries are currently ongoing to establish the full circumstances. The death is being treated as unexplained at this time."
"A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
