Man's body found near woods in Renfrewshire village of Kilbarchan

A man's body has been found near a wooded area in Renfrewshire.

The grim discovery was made near to Barrhill Crescent in the village of Kilbarchan at around 2.30pm on Sunday, December 22.

Police have now launched a probe into the death. There are no details about the man at this time.

A Police Scotland  spokesperson said: "We can confirm a man's body was found near to Barrhill Crescent, Kilbarchan, around 2.30pm on Sunday, December 22, 2019.

" Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding his death."
