Man's body found near Longniddry golf course at East Lothian beach

Cops have launched an investigation after a man's body was found on a Scots beach this morning.

Officers were scrambled to the coast near to Longniddry Golf Course in East Lothian shortly before 10.30am.

A section of the beach was sealed off as police began to comb the area for clues.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At around 10.20 am on Wednesday, November 4 2020, police received a report that a man’s body had been found on the beach near Longniddry golf course.

"Emergency services are in attendance and inquiries are ongoing.”
