Police are investigating after a man's body was discovered near a coastal road.
Officers in Prestatyn have not yet been able to identify the man.
His body was discovered on Friday evening on the coastal side of the A548 road between Gronant and Prestatyn.
A spokesman for North Wales Police said: "The incident is currently being treated as an unexplained death."
The road has been closed since around 3.30pm on Friday as police carry out investigation work in the area.
Witnesses have described seeing forensic officers, underwater search teams and uniformed officers searching the area.
A white tent has also been put up on the side of the road.
Officers are appealing for motorists of commercial or private vehicles with dashcam footage of this area taken within the last 10 days to contact them on 101 quoting incident number Y010830.
