Man's body found in Scots flat as police launch probe

A police probe has started after the death of a man in Falkirk last night.

Emergency services scrambled to Affric Drive, Langlees, at around 6:45pm on Wednesday, July 28.

The 46-year-old's body was discovered within a block of flats.

A number of paramedics and police officers were spotted at the address, including two ambulances.

Officers say the death is currently being treated as unexplained and remain at the scene this morning.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called around 6.45pm on Wednesday, July 28, to a report of the sudden death of a 46-year-old man in Affric Drive, Falkirk.

"The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing."
