A search and rescue operation has been called off in the River Murray, north of Mannum, after the body of a 69-year-old man from Kadina was found in the water.
Police said they received reports of a man's body in the river at Purnong Road, about four kilometres from Mannum, just before 12:30pm.
The State Emergency Service said it had been called to search for a missing person in the water north of the Mannum Boat Haven.
A spokesperson said the search was called off soon after the body was found.
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death and a report would be prepared for the state coroner.
