A man's body has been found in the River Kelvin early this morning (Monday 19 October).
Police have recovered the body, which was found in the River Kelvin by the bridge near Belmont Street.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the man's death and a heavy police presence remains at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman told Glasgow Live: "Around 6.30AM on Monday the 19th of October, police received a report of a man's body in the River Kelvin near to Belmont bridge.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances."
