Man's body found in Perthshire town as cops probe 'unexplained' death

An investigation is underway after the body of a man was found in a Scots town.

Emergency services raced to the scene in Comrie Street, Crieff, Perthshire, at around 5.40pm on Sunday evening.

Officers found a 33-year-old man who had sadly passed away and a probe was launched to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.

Investigators are currently treating his death as “unexplained” pending further enquiries.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Emergency services were called to Comrie Street, Crieff, at around 5.40pm on Sunday June 14, 2020, following the sudden death of a 33-year-old man.

“The death is being treated as unexplained and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
