Man's body found in Glasgow flat as 'sudden death' sparks police probe

A man's body has been discovered in a flat Glasgow, sparking a police probe.

The 58-year-old died suddenly within the property on Kennishead Avenue last night.

Officers raced to the scene after the alarm was raised at around around 10.15pm.

The death is not being treated as suspicious but investigations are continuing and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a sudden death within a flat on Kennishead Avenue, Glasgow, around 10.15pm on Thursday, 26 August.

"The death of the 58-year-old man is not being treated as suspicious at this stage. Enquiries are ongoing and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
