A man's body has been discovered in Dublin this morning.
The grim discovery was made early this morning in the Fergal's Lane area of Finglas Co. Dublin
Gardai are currently on the scene after being alerted to the discovery at around 8.20 am and an investigation has been launched.
The man is said to be aged in his 20s. His body has since been removed from the scene to Whitehall Morgue.
It's understood that early enquiries suggest that no foul play was involved.
A Garda spokesman said: "Gardai are investigating following the discovery of the body of a male, aged in his late 20s, in Fergal’s Lane, Finglas this morning, 18th February 2021.
"Gardai were alerted to the incident at approximately 8.20am. The body of the man has been removed from the scene to Whitehall Morgue, and the local Coroner has been notified.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
