Man's body found in field near secluded lane in Pudsey

West Yorkshire Police have confirmed that a man has died after a body was found in a field next to the Outer Ring Road in Pudsey.

The incident was reported to officers shortly before 8am on Thursday, February 21, after a member of the public found the body of a mna in his twenties in a field next to The Lanes.

The field separates the housing estate from the A647 Outer Ring Road, which runs up to the junction with Richardshaw Lane.

The discovery of the body was made just a few yards away from the back entrance to Pudsey Grangefield School.

A spokesperson for the force told LeedsLive : "At 7.55am yesterday (20/2) the body of a man in his twenties was found in a field at The Lanes, Pudsey.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and the Coroner’s Office has been informed."
