Man's body found in Co Wexford as gardai launch investigation

Gardai are investigating following the discovery of a man's body in Wexford on Monday.

The discovery was made in the Tagoat area just outside of Rosslare.

His body was removed from the scene and taken to hospital.

A post-mortem will take place at a later date.

A Garda spokesman said: "Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances following the discovery of a body of a man in Tagoat yesterday evening, Monday 12th July 2021.

"His body has since been removed to University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem will take place at a later date."

It's understood this is being treated as a tragic incident.
