Man's body found in Cardiff park

A man's body has been found in a Cardiff park, police have confirmed.

Officers from South Wales Police attended a small park on Sunday, July 26, following the discovery of the body of a man in Lisvane.

The death is being treated as unexplained, although there appear to be no suspicious circumstances, a spokesperson said.

Police have confirmed steps are now being taken to confirm the identity of the individual.

A police statement read: "At around 10am [on Sunday] police officers were called following the discovery of the body of a man in a small park in Lisvane.

"The death is being treated as unexplained, although there appear to be no suspicious circumstances.

"Steps are being taken to confirm the identity the individual and H M Coroner has been informed."
