A Hamilton man bombarded a woman with texts and social media messages containing threats and sexually offensive comments.
Trevor Broadhurst, 51, of Westwood Crescent, was placed under supervision for two years at Hamilton Sheriff Court this week.
He was also ordered to attend a domestic abuse programme and handed a non-harassment order designed to prevent him contacting the woman for three years.
Broadhurst admitted a course of conduct which caused the woman fear or alarm between January and October last year.
He also admitted committing the offence while on bail for another matter.
