A man has been hospitalised with a serious injury after a police incident in Edinburgh yesterday.
The 44-year-old was rushed by ambulance to the city’s Royal Infirmary.
Police are now carrying out investigations into the incident.
We previously told how a large police presence was spotted in the area of Slateford Green.
Eyewitnesses on nearby Gorgie Park Close spotted police cars, a police van and three ambulances at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6.30pm on Wednesday, 20 January, officers were called to a property on Slateford Green, Edinburgh, following a report of a disturbance.
“A 44-year-old man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with a serious injury. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
