A 40-year-old man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after falling from a second floor window at a Scots flat.
Emergency crews descended at the property on Nichollfield in Edinburgh around 2pm on Saturday after the incident.
The man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with serious injuries and his current condition is unknown.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 40-year-old man was injured after falling from a second floor window at a property on Nichollfield in Edinburgh.
"He has been taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with serious injuries.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.”
