Man rushed to hospital with serious injuries after 'disturbance' in Glasgow

A man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a disturbance in Glasgow last night.

Emergency services raced to Springhill Parkway near Edinburgh Road in Baillieston after receiving the alarm at around 8.30pm on Friday, June 11.

Ambulance crews attended and the 38-year-old casualty was taken to hospital for treatment.

He is described as having serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police say their enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a disturbance on Springhill Parkway in Glasgow around 8.30pm on Friday, June 11.

"A 38-year-old man was taken to hospital following the incident for treatment to serious but non-life threatening injuries. Enquiries are ongoing."
