Man rushed to hospital with serious injuries after crash in North Dublin

A man in his was rushed to hospital with serious injuries yesterday after a collision in North Dublin.

Gardai say enquiries are ongoing after the crash on the Skerries to Lusk Road.

The road was closed off for a number of hours while one man in his 50s was rushed to hospital.

The man's injuries are said to be serious but not life-threatening.

A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana said enquiries are still ongoing.

They said: "Gardai were called to a road traffic collision that occurred at Balcunnin, Lusk on the 10th of June 2019, at approx. 9am.

"A male in his 50s was taking to hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries. The road is now reopened. Enquires are ongoing."

The incident happened at Finnegans Corner on the Skerries to Lusk Road yesterday at around 9am.

Gardai sealed off the round and diversions were put in place for most of the morning.
