A man has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in Levenshulme yesterday.
Police were called to Moseley Road on Thursday (August 12) just before 2pm after reports of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
After emergency services arrived, a man in his 40s was taken to hospital with ‘serious injuries’.

He is said to be in a stable condition.
“Officers were called at around 1.55pm yesterday (12 August 2021) to a report of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian along Moseley Road, Manchester,” a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police told the Manchester Evening News.
“Emergency services attended and a man in his 40s was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He remains in a stable condition in hospital.
“No arrests have been made.”
The incident led to a section of Moseley Road being closed for much of Thursday afternoon.
It was shut from the Kingsway roundabout to the junction with Slade Lane, Transport for Greater Manchester said.
