He is said to be in a stable condition.

“Officers were called at around 1.55pm yesterday (12 August 2021) to a report of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian along Moseley Road, Manchester,” a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police told the Manchester Evening News.

“Emergency services attended and a man in his 40s was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He remains in a stable condition in hospital.

“No arrests have been made.”

The incident led to a section of Moseley Road being closed for much of Thursday afternoon.

It was shut from the Kingsway roundabout to the junction with Slade Lane, Transport for Greater Manchester said.
