Man rushed to hospital with facial injury after city centre 'disturbance'

A man was rushed to hospital last night after an incident in the city centre.

Police were called to reports of a disturbance on Union Street at around shortly before 9.30pm (Wednesday, July 15).

Police attended and a 33-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to a facial injury.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today (Thursday, July 16).
