Man rushed to hospital with ‘facial injuries’ after attack inside Scots house as police probe launched

A man has been rushed to hospital after suffering facial injuries during an attack at a Fife house.

Police were called to the scene on Cullen Drive in Glenrothes at around 6.15pm on Saturday, May 8, with reports of an assault.

A 40-year-old man was found to have been hurt and was taken to the Victoria Hospital for treatment.

His current condition is not known.

Police Scotland have confirmed their investigation into the alleged assault remains ongoing.

A spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a report of an assault within a property on Cullen Drive in Glenrothes around 6.15pm on Saturday, 8 May.

“A 40-year-old man was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for treatment to facial injuries. “Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
