A man was rushed to hospital following an alleged stabbing last night in Dublin city centre.
The assault happened at around 10.30 pm on Hanover Street East.
The victim, aged in his early 20s, sustained facial injuries and had to be taken to St. Vincents Hospital.
A garda spokeswoman told Dublin Live the injuries were "non-life threatening" and investigations are ongoing.
