A man has been rushed to hospital and police have made an arrest following an incident in Fife.
Police were called to Glenrothes yesterday afternoon after a man was found seriously injured on Cullen Drive.
The 40-year-old was rushed to hospital while another man was arrested in connection with the incident.
The street was sealed off while officers carried out enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to Cullen Drive in Glenrothes at around 4.20pm on Monday, 26 July, after a man was found seriously injured. The 40-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment.
"A man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries remain ongoing."
