Man rushed to hospital following two-vehicle crash in Falkirk

A man has been rushed to hospital after a two-vehicle crash on a residential street in Falkirk overnight.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Cumbrae Drive in the Tamfourhill area of the town at around 1:20am this morning, Thursday November, 18.

He was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary where he is being treated for serious injuries.

Another man, 38, has been arrested in connection with road traffic offences.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called around 1.20am on Thursday, 18 November, 2021 following the report of a two vehicle road crash on Cumbrae Drive, Falkirk.

"Emergency services attended and a man was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment of serious injuries.

"The road was closed for around three and a half hours.

"A 38-year-old man and driver of the vehicle has been arrested in connection with road traffic offences and enquiries remain ongoing."
