A man was taken to hospital following a late-night assault that took place in Meath.
Gardai were alerted to the incident on Main Street in Ballivor after midnight on Sunday.
A man in his 30s was rushed to hospital but his injuries are thankfully said to be non-life threatening.
Gardai in Trim are appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage of the incident.
A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí are investigating an incident of assault that occurred on the 19th December 2021 in Ballivor, Co. Meath at 12:10am. A man in his 30s suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment."
