Man rushed to hospital as gardai probe early morning stabbing in Dublin

A man has been rushed to hospital after a stabbing incident in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Gardai are investigating the assault in Fortunestown Close, Tallaght that is believed to have happened around 6am.

The man's injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí are investigating an assault on a man that occurred on the morning of Sunday, 10 th April, 2022, in the Fortunestown Close area of Tallaght, Dublin 24.

"The injured male was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

"No arrests have been made at this stage of this ongoing investigation."
