Man rushed to hospital as cops tape off street in East Lothian

A man has been rushed to hospital after police were called to a street in East Lothian on Saturday afternoon.

Officers attended reports of 'concern for a person' at a building on North High Street in Musselburgh at around 2.50pm on November 19. A man was then taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary shortly after.

According to Edinburgh Live, multiple police vehicles were spotted near the Brunton Hall Theatre following the incident. No further details are known at this time.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At around 2.50pm on Saturday, 19 November, 2022 we were called to a report of a concern for person at a premises on North High Street, Fisherrow, Musselburgh. Emergency services attended and a man has been taken by ambulance to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.”
