Man rushed to hospital and two arrested following fight outside bar

A man has been taken to hospital following a fight outside a Bolton bar.

Emergency services were called to Kahiki Hideout, in Bradshawgate, at 5.10am today (Wednesday December 29).

According to Greater Manchester Police (GMP), a man was assaulted during a fight with two other men.

Two men - aged 34 and 33 - have been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault.

They remain in custody for questioning.

The victim is in hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.

A GMP spokesman said: " Police were called shortly after 5.10am this morning (29 December) to a report of a disturbance outside of a bar on Bradshawgate, Bolton.

"Officers attended and enquiries established that a man had been assaulted during a fight with two other men.

"The male victim – was taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

"Enquiries are ongoing."

A North West Ambulance Serivce (NWAS) spokesman added: "We were called to a police incident at 05.10 this morning.

"One patient has been taken to hospital."

Anyone with information should contact police online, if able, or via 101, quoting incident 423 of 29/12/21.
