A man has been hospitalised following a road crash in Dumfries and Galloway.
A van smashed into the side of the road on the A75 just before 8am this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the driver of the van was rushed to hospital.
Traffic Scotland warned drivers that the road has been partially blocked and alternative routes should be used where possible.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 7.55am on Wednesday, 10 March, to a report of a one vehicle crash on the A75 near Kinmount, Annan.
“A man, the driver of the van, has been taken to hospital. The road is closed eastbound while recovery of the vehicle takes place.”
