A man has been rushed to hospital after a crash on the M80 near Falkirk this afternoon.
Officers from Police Scotland and paramedics from the Scottish Ambulance Service raced to the two-vehicle smash near Junction 6 at Denny, just after 4pm.
Cops have closed a section of the motorway southbound between J9 and J8 following the crash.
Traffic Scotland says motorists should avoid the area, adding that traffic is starting to build.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.05pm on Wednesday, 3 February, officers were called to a report of a two car crash on the M80 southbound near J6, Denny.
"Officers are currently at the scene and a man has been taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital."
