Man rushed to hospital after suspected Dublin stabbing

A man was rushed to hospital after a suspected stabbing in Dublin.

The shocking incident happened on Moore Street in the city centre late on Sunday night.

The victim was brought to the Mater Hospital for treatment after the altercation.

He is believed to have only suffered minor injuries.

A garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí attended the scene of an altercation that occurred on Moore Street in the early hours of this morning Monday 1 February, 2021.

"One man was removed to The Mater Hospital, with minor injuries.

"Investigation ongoing."
