Man rushed to hospital after stabbing near Duke Street in Glasgow's east end

A man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed near Duke Street in the east end of Glasgow.

Police were called to the scene of the incident at Todd Street at around 5pm yesterday (Sunday).

The 20-year-old man is currently being treated in Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where his condition is described as 'stable'.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told Glasgow Live : "A 20-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary after being stabbed in Todd Street around 5.00 pm yesterday, Sunday, 1 September 2019.

"His condition is described by medical staff as being stable.

"Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the assault should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 3104 of 1 September 2019. Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
