Man rushed to hospital after stabbing at Blackhorse Road Tube station in east London

A man has been rushed to hospital after being knifed in broad daylight at an east London tube station, the London Ambulance Service said.

An Air Ambulance and ambulance crew were called to Blackhorse Road tube station to reports of a stabbing at 2.30pm.

The man’s condition has been described as critical.

A crime scene was put up around the tube station, the Met said.

The violence is the latest incident of knife crime in east London, after four people were stabbed on Saturday.

A woman and two men were stabbed in a horrific triple stabbing in Leyton.

Police and the London Ambulance Service raced to Church Road at about 3.35pm on Saturday after receiving reports of a man injured.

Once there, officers found a woman suffering from stab injuries along with two men who had sustained “slash wounds”.

Officers said both the men’s injuries are not life threatening or changing. The woman’s condition has since been described as stable.

A 26-year-old was stabbed just three miles away in Forest Gate on Saturday as well.

The young man was attacked on Field Road, the Met said.

Officers confirmed a man was arrested on suspicion of GBH at the scene.
