A man has been rushed to hospital after a shooting incident in Tallaght, south Dublin on Friday afternoon.
Gardai are at the scene of the incident at Fortunestown Lane in Tallaght.
Officers were alerted to the area after reports of a shooting at 12:10pm.
In a statement gardai confirmed to the Irish Mirror that they are attending the incident.
“Gardai are currently at the scene of an incident that occurred this afternoon, Friday December 3, 2021 at approximately 12.10pm on Fortunestown Lane, Tallaght.
"One male, details currently unknown, has been taken to hospital.
"No further information is available at this time”, they said.
