A man has been rushed to hospital following an incident on a busy Scots motorway.
It took place on the M9 near Grangemouth, Falkirk at around 12.20am on Monday, November 8, 2021.
Emergency services raced to the scene after responding to a concern for a person call, according to Police Scotland.
The road was closed between junctions 4 and 5 eastbound as officers dealt with the situation, the nature of which is not yet known.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.20am on Monday, 8 November, 2021, police received a concern for person call.
"Emergency services attended and a man has been taken to hospital for assessment.
"The M9 between junction 4 westbound and junction 5 eastbound was closed as officers dealt with the incident."
