Man rushed to hospital after police are called to disturbance at Kilmarnock home

A man has been rushed to hospital following a disturbance in a Kilmarnock home today.

The 26-year-old was taken to Crosshouse Hospital following an incident at a property in Orchard Gardens, just off Dean Street this afternoon.

An eyewitness reported seeing at least six police cars at the scene and two vans after the disturbance was called in at around 3.30pm.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police received report of a disturbance at a property in Orchard Gardens, Dean Street, Kilmarnock around 3.30pm on Saturday, June 6.

"A 26-year-old man has been taken to Crosshouse Hospital for treatment.”
