A man has been rushed to hospital after a one-crash on the M8.
Cops were called to the scene in Glasgow shortly before 10am on Sunday morning, August 22.
The collision, involving only one car, happened near junction 11 of the busy motorway.
Traffic Scotland warned motorists after all westbound lanes were shut down while emergency service raced to the scene.
Police confirmed the driver, a 35-year-old man, was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary following the crash.
It's understood his vehicle is being recovered from the road but the lanes have now reopened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 9.50am to a report of a one car crash on the M8, westbound, near junction 11 between Stepps and Riddrie, Glasgow.
"A 35-year-old man, the driver, was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Recovery of the vehicle is being arranged.”
