A man was rushed to hospital after a horror Christmas Day crash on the M8.
The accident happened at around 7.25am on the eastbound carriageway near junction 18 in the Charing Cross area of Glasgow city centre.
Emergency services raced to the scene before cops sealed off the motorway for about an hour as the smashed vehicle was recovered.
The man was taken to hospital but it's believed he has since been released.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a crash involving a single car on the M8 eastbound near junction 18 around 7.25am on Friday, 25 December.
"One man was taken to hospital as a precaution and the vehicle was recovered."
