A man has been taken to hospital after four vehicles were involved in a collision in the middle of a busy Irish town.
The crash between a truck and three cars happened in Westport, Co Mayo on Monday morning.
The incident occurred in the holiday hotspot on James Street at around 10.50am.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and one man was taken to Mayo University Hospital for treatment.
His injuries are described as non-life-threatening.
Gardai closed the road and local diversions are in place while they attend the scene.
A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a traffic collision that occurred on James’s Street in Westport, Co Mayo at approximately 10:50am this morning, Monday, 23rd August 2021.

"One truck collided with three cars in the course of this incident.
"One man was conveyed to Mayo University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries sustained during this incident.
"Local diversions are in place while the scene is being attended."
