Man rushed to hospital after early morning disturbance at Lanarkshire house

A man was rushed to hospital following a disturbance at a Lanarkshire house this morning.

Emergency services raced to Gartcraig Street, Coatbridge after reports of an incident at around 11.15am.

Cops confirmed a 28-year-old man was taken to hospital.

His condition is currently unknown.

An investigation has been launched to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to reports of a disturbance at a property on Gartcraig Street, Coatbridge at around 11.15am on Sunday, 10 July, 2022.

“Emergency services attended and a 28-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
