Man rushed to hospital after 'disturbance' in Glasgow's Queen's Park as cops examine knife at scene

A man is in hospital after a 'disturbance' in Glasgow's Queen's Park.

Police descended onto the park after receiving the alarm 6pm today. Medics attended and on arrival, a 29-year-old man was found injured.

Cops could be seen examining a knife at the scene.

The man was blue-lighted to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where his current condition is unknown.

Cops have taped off nearby Pollokshaws Road next to the park.

Images show a heavy police presence in the area while an officer guards a knife lying in the middle of the road. Inquiries into the incident remain ongoing.

Anybody with dash-cam footage who was in the area at the time is urged to contact police.
